The fastest way to find the shortest wait for any attraction is the best-time-to-ride forecaster, at /best-time-to-ride. Pick a ride and you’ll see its typical wait hour by hour across the day, with the quietest windows called out. It’s free for everyone — no plan needed.

What the forecaster shows you

• An hour-by-hour wait curve for the attraction, based on measured park observations and historical patterns for comparable days.
• The quietest hours — the windows where the wait is usually shortest.
• The peak hours to avoid, so you can see how much time a smarter slot actually saves.
• Confidence context — forecasts are patterns, not promises. Weather, ride downtime, and unusual crowds can move the real number.

How to use it

1. Open the forecaster at /best-time-to-ride (or tap a ride from the Rides tab and open its best-time view).
2. Choose the attraction you’re planning around.
3. Look at the low points in the curve — usually early after opening, during a parade or fireworks, or in the last hour of the night.
4. Cross-check the day itself on the crowd calendar (/crowd). A quiet hour on a packed day still runs longer than the same hour on a slow day.
5. Slot that window into your day, then confirm the live number on the Dashboard or Ride Now before you walk over.

Forecast vs. live wait

The forecaster tells you when to plan for. Live wait times tell you what’s happening right now. Use both:

• Planning tonight for tomorrow? Forecaster.
• Standing in Frontierland deciding what’s next? Live waits and Ride Now.

If a ride craters to a walk-on outside its usual quiet window, that’s exactly the kind of thing live data catches and a forecast can’t.
