Build Your Park Day with the Park-Day Builder

The Park-Day Builder turns a list of must-dos into an ordered plan for a single park day. You tell it the park, the date and what matters most; it sequences those rides into a realistic order using wait forecasts and best-time-to-ride patterns, so you’re hitting each attraction near its quieter stretch instead of walking the park twice.

It lives on the Plan tab (/app/plans) and is included with Silver and Gold.

How to build a day

1. Open the Plan tab and start a new park day.
2. Pick the park and the date. The builder pulls that day’s crowd forecast so a busy Saturday plan looks different from a quiet Tuesday one.
3. Add your must-dos from the ride catalog.
4. Set your ride priority list — 5 Must ride down to 0 Skip. Leaving a ride unranked isn’t the same as ranking it 0; it just means “no strong opinion.”
5. Add any dining you already have booked, plus your rough arrival and departure times.
6. Generate the plan, then reorder anything by hand — it’s your day, not a locked script.

How it decides the order

• Best time to ride. Each attraction has its own quiet windows. The builder slots your high-priority rides into theirs rather than spreading them evenly.
• Rope drop first. The rides that balloon worst by mid-morning go earliest, because that’s the hour you can’t get back.
• Lightning Lane fit. Where you’re using Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Single Pass, the plan works around those return windows instead of fighting them.
• Walking sense. It groups rides by area so you’re not crossing the park between every step.
• Your fixed points. Meals and show times anchor the plan; rides fill the gaps around them.

Keeping the plan honest during the day

A plan made last night won’t match a park that’s running two rides down. Pair it with:

• Ride-Now (/now) for what to do next based on the live board.
• Drop Watch (/app/drop) so you hear the moment a Lightning Lane refills or a hard-to-get table frees up.
• Merlin, which can read your priority ranking and talk through a reshuffle.

A note on booking

SupaPark plans and alerts — it never books. When the builder says to grab a Lightning Lane, or Drop Watch pings you about a table, you confirm it yourself in My Disney Experience. Advance Dining Reservations open 60 days before arrival at 6:00 AM Eastern; Lightning Lane Multi Pass selections open at 7:00 AM Eastern on your eligible day.
