Rider Switch, strollers & quiet zones: how SupaPark helps families

On the Family plan, SupaPark surfaces Rider Switch eligibility, stroller-friendly routes, and quiet zones so the whole party moves smarter through the parks.

SupaPark’s family tools — Rider Switch, stroller-friendly routes, and quiet zones — live on the Family plan ($30/mo) and are built around your party’s profiles. Here’s what each one does and where to find it.

    What is Rider Switch?

Rider Switch (sometimes called “baby swap”) is a Disney program that lets both adults ride a big attraction without waiting in line twice — even when someone in your group is too small or doesn’t want to ride.

Here’s how it works in practice:

    1. Your whole group goes to the ride together.
    2. Adult #1 rides while Adult #2 waits with the child.
    3. When Adult #1 returns, Adult #2 rides next — without standing in the regular line again.

So you only wait once, but both grown-ups get their turn. It’s a lifesaver for rides like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Slinky Dog Dash, or Space Mountain when you’ve got little ones along.

    How SupaPark surfaces it

When you add your kids to your Family profile (path: /app/family-profile) with their heights, SupaPark builds a ride-eligibility matrix for your whole party. For any attraction where someone can’t ride, SupaPark flags that Rider Switch applies — so you know in advance which rides to plan it for, instead of discovering it at the gate.

You’ll still arrange Rider Switch with a Disney Cast Member at the attraction; SupaPark’s job is to tell you where it’s worth doing.

    Stroller-friendly routes

Under your Family tools (/app/families), SupaPark can suggest stroller-friendly routes between attractions — steering you away from tight bottlenecks and toward smoother paths. Handy when you’re crossing a park with a loaded stroller and a tired toddler.

    Quiet zones

SupaPark also surfaces quiet zones — calmer, lower-stimulation spots to step away from crowds and noise for a break. Great for a nap, a feed, or just a reset before the next ride.

    Getting set up

    1. Make sure you’re on the Family plan (manage it on /app/billing).
    2. Add each child on /app/family-profile, including current height — this powers the eligibility matrix and Rider Switch flags.
    3. Plan your day in the Park-Day Builder (/app/plans); family considerations factor into the recommendations.
    4. Family plan also unlocks SMS alerts, so drop and ride notifications can reach you even when your phone’s tucked away.

Tip: keep heights current as kids grow — even half an inch can open up a new ride, and SupaPark will update eligibility the moment you change it.
