Beaches Pool Bar & Grill

Beaches Pool Bar & Grill is the poolside counter-service-plus-bar tucked alongside the Grand Floridian’s beach pool, the one with the waterslide and the lake-facing loungers. It’s exactly what it sounds like: burgers, sandwiches, salads, frozen drinks, and a full bar served to people in swimsuits who don’t want to leave the deck. Nobody’s planning a vacation around it, and that’s fine — it’s a refuel station, not a destination, and it does that job well.

The real value here is location and atmosphere. You’re at a monorail resort on the Seven Seas Lagoon, so the backdrop is genuinely lovely — palm trees, white sand, the Magic Kingdom monorail gliding past — and on the right evening you can hear or glimpse pieces of the fireworks from the beach. The food is solid theme-park poolside fare at a fair-for-Disney price point; you’re paying partly for the setting and the convenience of not putting real clothes on.

Worth knowing: this is primarily for resort guests using the pool, and pool areas at Disney Deluxe resorts are generally for registered guests. It’s not a spot outsiders trek to for the menu — but if you’re staying on the monorail loop or grabbing a swim day, it’s a no-brainer.

This is a ‘you’re already here’ restaurant, not a ‘drive over for it’ one. If you’re a Grand Floridian guest spending an afternoon at the beach pool, it’s the easiest, most pleasant lunch on property — grab a frozen cocktail, a burger, and a lounger. If you’re hunting for a memorable Grand Floridian meal, save your appetite (and money) for the resort’s bigger sit-down rooms instead.
