Main Street Confectionery

The Main Street Confectionery is the quintessential Magic Kingdom sweet shop, serving as both the first and last temptation of your park day. Anchoring the corner of Main Street, U.S.A., its turn-of-the-century candy shop aesthetic is complete with pastel colors, cast members in pinstripes, and display cases packed with Mickey-shaped treats. Thanks to a recent Mars Wrigley sponsorship, the shop now features a massive colorful M&M wall and an expanded lineup of branded candies.

What really draws people in, however, is the theater of it all. You can watch the candy makers hard at work through the glass, spinning cotton candy, dipping caramel apples, and frosting cake pops. The crown jewel is the Kernel Kitchen, a custom popcorn station where you can choose your popcorn base and load it up with flavored chocolate drizzles and candies.

It’s an absolute classic and a rite of passage for a Magic Kingdom visit. While some of the pre-packaged items can be skipped, the freshly made treats and the customizable popcorn make it worth elbowing through the crowds. It’s perfect for grabbing a midday sugar rush or picking up an edible souvenir on your way out of the park.
