Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory is the main quick-service food court at Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter, and it fits the resort perfectly: colorful Mardi Gras factory theming, casual counter-service energy, and a menu that leans more New Orleans than the average hotel food court. This is not a destination table-service meal, but for a Moderate resort, it has more personality than most grab-and-go spots.\n\nThe win here is convenience with actual character. You can do familiar American breakfast and kid-friendly basics, but the reason to bother is the Cajun-Creole side of the menu: po’ boy-style sandwiches, richer Southern flavors, and resort-comfort food that makes sense after a park day. It is especially useful because French Quarter is compact, so getting in and out is much less of a production than at sprawling resorts.\n\nThe caveat: manage expectations. This is still a busy resort food court, so peak breakfast and post-park dinner can feel noisy and utilitarian. Go slightly off-rush and it becomes one of the easier, more pleasant quick-service meals on property.
