Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya - Opening Soon

Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya is the upstairs Japan pavilion table-service spot in EPCOT, tucked into the Mitsukoshi building where Tokyo Dining used to be. The room leans calmer than the busy promenade below: warm wood, a polished sushi-counter feel, and a menu built around sushi, small plates, and seasonal Japanese touches rather than one giant theme-park entree per person.

The real draw is that it works like an izakaya inside EPCOT: order a few things for the table, linger a bit, and let the view do some of the heavy lifting. The large windows facing World Showcase Lagoon make this one of the better dinner-with-a-view plays in the park, especially if you time it around the nighttime show.

It is not the cheapest way to eat in Japan, and sushi skeptics may be happier downstairs at Katsura Grill. But for guests who want a quieter, more adult-feeling EPCOT meal without leaving the park, Shiki-Sai earns its place.
