Tony's Town Square
Tony’s Town Square Restaurant has spent years fighting off a reputation as Magic Kingdom’s most skippable table-service meal. Themed to the classic animated film Lady and the Tramp, the restaurant sits right at the front of Main Street, U.S.A., offering a charming, nostalgic atmosphere. For a long time, the food here drew comparisons to a basic chain restaurant. But following a major menu overhaul in 2022, the kitchen has quietly staged a comeback, replacing tired pastas with genuinely craveable appetizers and elevated entrees.
The real draw, however, is the location. Because it sits right on Town Square, Tony’s boasts an outdoor porch that provides one of the best elevated, shaded parade-viewing spots in all of Magic Kingdom. Combine that with a menu that now features show-stopping starters and the fact that it’s one of the few places in the park to order alcohol, and Tony’s has evolved from a ‘skip’ into a strategic reservation for families and parade fans.
If you’re expecting world-class, authentic Italian cuisine, Tony’s will still let you down—head to EPCOT for that. But if you’re looking for a highly accessible, crowd-pleasing meal where you can sit on a shaded patio, sip a glass of wine, and watch the Festival of Fantasy parade roll by without fighting the Main Street crowds, Tony’s is an incredibly smart play. It’s a lifesaver for families with picky eaters or anyone who needs a last-minute sit-down reservation.
