Disney World Adds September Good to Go Days

Published September 1, 2026

Walt Disney World reportedly added September 2 and September 3, 2026, as Good to Go Days for Annual Passholders at its theme parks on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. The key change: eligible Passholders can visit without making a theme park reservation on those two dates.

As of Tuesday, September 1, the reported dates apply across Walt Disney World’s theme parks. Passholders still need valid admission, and blockout dates still depend on the type of Annual Pass they hold.

According to reports, September 2 and September 3 are the first Good to Go Days added for September 2026. The dates follow an August 31 Good to Go Day, extending the reservation-free stretch into the opening days of the month.

Good to Go Days remove the theme park reservation requirement for eligible Annual Passholders on designated dates. That makes a short-notice park visit easier, especially for locals or frequent visitors who want to decide late without adding another planning step.

Disney adds Good to Go Days periodically instead of publishing every date far in advance. More September dates could be added, but they are not part of this report.

What we know

What’s not confirmed

Disney has not confirmed any additional September 2026 Good to Go Days beyond September 2 and September 3 in the reported update.

Disney has not said whether more dates will be added later in September. Because Good to Go Days can appear periodically, Passholders should treat the calendar as active rather than final.

What it means for your trip

If you are an eligible Annual Passholder and your pass is not blocked out, September 2 or September 3 is easier to turn into a spontaneous Disney World day because you do not need to secure a theme park reservation first.

The practical move is to check your pass blockout calendar before you commit, then choose the park based on the day’s wait times, weather, and dining availability rather than locking yourself into a reservation plan.

This is most useful for locals, flexible travelers, and anyone already near Walt Disney World in early September. If you wait, the biggest risk is not losing the Good to Go Day itself; it is missing the chance to adjust around crowds, storms, ride downtime, or better park conditions in real time.
