How SupaPark Real Wait works
We compare Disney's posted standby time to the actual wait guests timed, across years of historical data. The gap is systematic — it's wider for headliners and grows through the evening — so we learn a correction for each hour of the day.
For the headliners we have enough timed waits on, that correction is learned from that ride's own history. Every other ride gets the correction for its tier — rides with a comparable queue and comparable padding. We label which one you're looking at rather than presenting a tier average as a measurement of one ride.
We apply that correction to the live posted wait to produce the SupaPark Real Wait. We only show it when there's enough data to be confident, we use the typical (median) gap rather than the rosiest one, and we always label it an estimate.
