Question 1

What is Lightning Lane?

Accepted Answer

Lightning Lane is Disney's paid line skipping system at Walt Disney World — it replaced the free FastPass+ in 2021. There are two kinds. Multi Pass is a per day, per park bundle: you book a few rides in advance and pick up more through the day. Single Pass (you'll also see it called an Individual Lightning Lane, or ILL) is bought one ride at a time, and it's how the very biggest headliners are sold. Prices move daily with demand, and popular times sell out. SupaPark doesn't sell Lightning Lane and can't book it for you — that happens in Disney's own My Disney Experience app. What we do is tell you whether it's worth buying today, at today's price, for the wait you'd actually skip, and alert you the moment a sold out one comes back.

Question 2

Can my whole party get the alerts, not just me?

Accepted Answer

Partly, today. Alerts go to the account that set the watch — by email on every plan, and as a push to that phone on Silver and Gold. The usual way families handle it is to sign in on more than one phone with the same account, and every device that's signed in gets the push. What we do not have yet is per person routing — sending the dining alerts to one parent and the Lightning Lane alerts to the other, each from their own login. It's a real gap and it's on the roadmap; we'd rather say so than let you find out mid trip.

Question 3

Does SupaPark book Lightning Lane for me at 7 AM?

Accepted Answer

No. SupaPark never books anything — it watches and it tells you; you confirm in Disney's My Disney Experience app. What it does do is show which Lightning Lanes typically sell out first (measured from our own availability log), so you know what to grab first when your booking window opens at 7 AM Eastern.

Question 4

Is SupaPark affiliated with Disney?

Accepted Answer

No, SupaPark is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to The Walt Disney Company or Walt Disney World Resort. We provide data analysis and planning tools to help guests make informed decisions about their visits.

Question 5

What are the plans, and which one should I pick?

Accepted Answer

Free, Silver ($19/month or $125/year) and Gold ($29/month or $199/year). Everything you need to plan is free forever with no card: live waits, the Real Wait board, the crowd calendar, live Lightning Lane availability, the ride and dining catalogs and the free guides, plus 10 alert emails a day and a taste of Merlin (3 questions a day). Silver adds push alerts to your phone and 10 merlin questions a day. Gold removes every cap and turns Merlin proactive. See pricing for the full comparison.

Question 6

Do I need to buy Lightning Lane every day to use SupaPark?

Accepted Answer

Not at all! SupaPark provides value whether you purchase Lightning Lane or not. Our live wait times, crowd predictions, touring plans, and dining reservation monitoring work for all ticket types. Lightning Lane features are just one part of our comprehensive toolkit.

Question 7

How do alerts work and how many can I set?

Accepted Answer

Every plan can set Drop Watch alerts on dining reservations, Lightning Lane availability and wait times. A free account gets its first 3 alerts by push, free, then by email (10 alert emails a day). Silver and Gold send every alert to your phone as a push (unlimited push alerts).

Question 8

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Silver and Gold can be cancelled at any time with no penalty; your access continues until the end of the period you paid for, and you can always come back later. A subscription bought in the App Store or Google Play is cancelled in that store; a web subscription is cancelled from Billing. The free plan never expires and has nothing to cancel.

Question 9

How accurate are your wait time predictions?

Accepted Answer

We combine real time data from aggregated live sources with historical patterns and predictive models to estimate wait times. Live conditions can change quickly, so treat our estimates as a planning aid rather than a guarantee.

Question 10

What is Drop Watch and how does it help?

Accepted Answer

Drop Watch monitors sold out Lightning Lanes and dining reservations 24/7, alerting you the moment spots become available. This helps you secure popular experiences that were previously unavailable, often saving your entire Disney day.

Question 11

Does SupaPark work for Disneyland too?

Accepted Answer

Currently, SupaPark is optimized specifically for Walt Disney World in Florida. We focus on providing the most accurate and comprehensive data for WDW's four theme parks. Disneyland support may be added in the future based on user demand.

Question 12

How does Drop Watch find dining reservations?

Accepted Answer

Drop Watch monitors Disney's reservation availability for the restaurants, dates and times you choose. When a table opens up (usually a cancellation), you get an alert so you can book it yourself in My Disney Experience — SupaPark never books for you.

Question 13

Is my Disney account information secure?

Accepted Answer

SupaPark never stores your Disney login credentials. We use read only data collection methods that don't require your Disney account access. All data is encrypted and we follow industry standard security practices to protect your privacy.

Question 14

What happens if Disney changes their systems?

Accepted Answer

We monitor our live data sources and adapt our tools when changes occur. Our small team works to keep SupaPark providing reliable data and functionality, even when Disney updates their platform.
