EPCOT Festival Survival Guide: Mastering Food & Wine, Festival of the Arts & More
Published June 14, 2026 · Updated September 9, 2026
Festival Calendar & Core Highlights
The 75-Day Food & Wine Window
- Official dates: August 30 – November 12 (a full 75-day stretch). This is the period Disney publishes for the Food & Wine Festival, so mark it on your calendar and treat it as your planning horizon.
- Reservation kickoff: All event and dining reservations open July 20. If you want a chef demo, pairing seminar, or the new resort-based “Brunch with a Twist,” set a reminder for that date.
- Advance Dining Reservations (ADRs): Book table-service spots 180 days in advance. High-demand venues like Via Napoli (great for picky eaters) fill up fast, so lock them in as soon as the window opens.
Festival of the Arts Overlap
- The Festival of the Arts runs concurrently with the Food & Wine Festival for a portion of the 75-day window (typically early-to-mid September through early October). Exact dates shift each year, so check the official EPCOT calendar for the current schedule.
- While the Arts festival focuses on visual and performance art, it also adds 13 Food Studios with artist-styled dishes (e.g., Deconstructed BLT, Reuben). The studio menus are posted on the Festival of the Arts web page—download them ahead of time.
Holiday Season Extension
- The International Festival of the Holidays kicks in after the Food & Wine dates, expanding from 15 full-menu Holiday Kitchens (up from 7). Treat these kitchens like regular Food & Wine booths: they serve complete meals and often accept Disney Dining Plan snack credits.
- Bring the Holiday Passport (pages 34-35) to collect stamps at the five designated cookie booths and earn a free “Completer Cookie” from the Holiday Sweets & Treats booth.
