Live now: Grand Floridian Cafe availability

Disney’s Grand Floridian Cafe at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is reportedly reopening for dinner this fall. According to reports tracking Walt Disney World website updates, dining reservations and evening operating hours are now available starting November 2, 2026.

As of Thursday, September 3, 2026, the restaurant remains closed for a refresh that began on July 20. During this downtime, the cafe’s popular brunch service has been temporarily relocated to Cítricos, while dinner service was paused entirely.

The official Walt Disney World website originally stated the work would last from mid-July through October 2026. Now, the site lists available dinner reservation slots and operating hours from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM starting November 2.

What we know

What’s not confirmed

Disney has not officially announced November 2 as the reopening date for the Grand Floridian Cafe. It is also not confirmed when the relocated brunch service will transition from Cítricos back to the main dining room, or if the restaurant might soft-open ahead of schedule.

What it means for your trip

If you are visiting in November and want a quiet, moderately priced table-service meal near Magic Kingdom, you can start booking Grand Floridian Cafe dinner reservations now. Because the location has been closed for months, these initial slots may book up faster than usual. If you cannot find a table for your preferred date, set up a SupaPark dining Drop Watch so you get an alert the moment a reservation frees up.
