Hurly-Burly Lounge Opens at Disney's BoardWalk October 1

Hurly-Burly, a new lounge inside the seaside theater building at Disney’s BoardWalk, is opening October 1, according to reports published Tuesday, September 1, 2026, that also detailed its full food and drink menu. The space is the former home of Jellyrolls, which closed earlier in 2026 for the renovation.

As of Tuesday, September 1, the lounge is reported to be walk-up only, with no reservations required.

The day-to-night split is the structural detail worth noting: family-friendly trivia and games run during daytime hours, then the room turns over to live music for guests 21 and older starting at 9:00 PM.

The menu leans shareable and boardwalk-classic. Small bites reportedly include Meatballs in Tomato Gravy (veal, pork and beef with stracciatella, Pecorino Romano and toasted focaccia), a Tomato Pie on focaccia, Antipasto with sliced meats and burrata, Oven-Roasted Shrimp with a sweet pepper-onion relish, Roast Beef Sliders, Mini Pretzels with bacon-cheese fondue, and a Theater Concessions plate of three meatballs, a sugar cookie and buttered popcorn. Dessert is Mini Apple Cider Doughnuts with miso-caramel. A plant-based version of the meatballs and the tomato pie is available on request.

There is also a walk-up window along the BoardWalk, which carries a subset of the menu — two of the three specialty non-alcoholic drinks and seven of the ten cocktails.

What we know

What’s not confirmed

Disney has not publicly confirmed daily operating hours, menu prices, or whether the 21-and-older cutoff applies to the walk-up window. All offerings are subject to change and availability. Treat the October 1 date as reported rather than officially announced until Disney says so directly.

What it means for your trip

If you have an EPCOT or Hollywood Studios evening on the books, this is the easiest late-night add-on at Walt Disney World — the BoardWalk is a walk from either park’s gate, and walk-up only means no 60-day reservation math. Show up before the 9:00 PM turnover if anyone in your group is under 21; after that hour you should assume you’re out. For a party of four, the Theater Concessions plate and the Antipasto are the shareable plays; the walk-up window is the move if you just want a drink to carry along the BoardWalk without waiting for a table. And since walk-up-only rooms fill on their own schedule, plan to arrive early in the evening rather than drifting over at closing.

Can kids go?

During the day, yes — trivia and games are family-friendly. Live music from 9:00 PM is 21 and older.

Is Jellyrolls coming back?

No. The building has been renovated into Hurly-Burly; Jellyrolls closed earlier in 2026 for this project.
