Start with something shareable. Jiko’s appetizers and breads are usually where the restaurant’s African, Indian, and Mediterranean influences show up most clearly, so this is where you let the table try something different without committing each person to a full entree.

The biggest mistake is squeezing Jiko between park plans. Animal Kingdom Lodge is beautiful, but it is not on the monorail, Skyliner, or walking path from a theme park. You need to account for transportation time.
