Merlin's Lightning Lane coach: booking order, sellout clock and refill odds

The short answer

Merlin knows how Lightning Lane actually behaves, because SupaPark records every Lightning Lane change through the day. Ask him, or let him tell you:

Sellout clock

Ask “does Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Lightning Lane sell out?” and Merlin answers from the last 60 measured days, using similar days: the same weekday or weekend and a similar crowd level. You’ll get something like “sold out on 9 of 12 similar days, usually by 10:40 AM, earliest 9:15”, plus whether it has sold out today. If there aren’t enough similar days, he says so and gives the overall numbers instead. He never says a ride will sell out.

Refill odds

Sold out doesn’t always mean gone. Merlin tells you how many recent days a ride’s Lightning Lane came back after selling out, and about how long it stayed. If it’s worth a try, set a Drop Watch on it and SupaPark alerts you the moment a return time reappears.

Dining, too

Ask about a hard-to-book restaurant and Merlin gives counted reservation drops: how many openings we’ve seen in the last week and month, the usual hour and how far ahead they tend to appear. When our dining data is stale or doesn’t cover a restaurant, he says so.
