What Should I Ride Next, Right Now?

The short answer

Open Ride-Now (supapark.com/now, or the Today tab in the app). It lists every attraction with its current wait, sorted so the best move right now floats to the top. Walk-ons are flagged, and any ride whose wait just dropped sharply gets a “just cratered” flag so you can catch the dip before everyone else does.

Ride-Now is free for everyone — no plan needed to see live waits, Lightning Lane availability, or the Real Wait board.

How to use it in the park

  1. Open Ride-Now on your phone (supapark.com/now).
  2. Confirm the park you’re in. On the iPhone app with location turned on, the park is detected for you; otherwise pick it from the park selector.
  3. Scan the top of the list — that’s where walk-ons and freshly dropped waits sit.
  4. Check the Real Wait figure next to the posted wait. Posted 45 but Real Wait 25? That’s often a better bet than a ride posting 30 that actually runs 35.
  5. Tap a ride to see its status, Lightning Lane availability, and its best-time-to-ride pattern before you commit to the walk.

Use the heat map to avoid a pointless walk

The park heat map (Plan → Map, or supapark.com/app/map) shows where the crowd is concentrated right now. Pair it with Ride-Now: if two rides have similar waits, take the one in the cooler part of the map — you’ll spend less time crossing traffic, and the surrounding shops, snacks, and restrooms will be calmer too.

Why waits crater (and why speed matters)

Short dips are usually caused by:

These windows are short. If you wait to check back in 20 minutes, the dip is usually gone. That’s the whole reason the flag exists.

Don’t want to keep checking your phone?

Ride-Now is a pull — you look, you decide. Drop Watch is the push: set a watch and SupaPark tells you the moment a ride craters to a walk-on, goes down, or a Lightning Lane refills.

Set watches on the Alerts page; the unified feed of every drop lives at supapark.com/app/drop.

One thing to remember

SupaPark watches and alerts — it never books. When a Lightning Lane refills or a table frees up, you confirm it yourself in Disney’s My Disney Experience app.
