Why didn't I get my alert?
A step-by-step checklist to fix missed SupaPark alerts — from notification permissions to plan level to whether anything actually changed yet.
Start here
If a SupaPark alert never reached you, it’s almost always one of a few things: notifications aren’t fully enabled, your phone silenced it, your plan doesn’t include that alert, or nothing has actually changed yet. Work through the checklist below in order.
Fix it: numbered checklist
-
Grant browser notification permission. SupaPark sends alerts by web push, so your browser must allow it. Open your browser’s site settings for supapark.com and set Notifications to Allow. If you previously tapped “Block,” alerts can’t get through until you switch it back.
-
Install SupaPark to your home screen (PWA). Web push is far more reliable when SupaPark is installed as a Progressive Web App. In your mobile browser menu, choose Add to Home Screen, then open SupaPark from that icon. This is the single most common fix for missed alerts on phones.
-
Check Do Not Disturb and Focus/quiet hours. A scheduled DND, Sleep Focus, or quiet-hours setting will silence pushes even when everything else is working. Add SupaPark (or your browser) as an allowed app, or check during active hours.
-
Confirm you’re on the right plan. Drop Watch alerts — both dining reservation drops and Lightning Lane refills — and Ride-Now anomaly alerts require Plus ($14.99/mo). SMS alerts require Family ($30/mo). On the Free tier you’ll see live wait times and forecasts, but not these live alerts. Check your plan on the Billing page (/app/billing).
-
Make sure the watch was actually active. An alert only fires if a watch is running. For dining, set it up on the Dining page (/app/dining) — that’s still Drop Watch — and confirm it’s listed as active in your Drop Watch feed (/app/drop). For ride and refill alerts, check the Alerts page (/app/alerts). An expired, paused, or never-saved watch won’t notify you.
-
Consider that nothing has changed yet. No alert often means there’s been nothing to report — the reservation hasn’t freed up, the Lightning Lane hasn’t refilled, or the ride hasn’t dropped to walk-on. SupaPark fires the instant something changes; until then, silence is normal. You can watch live status any time on Drop Watch (/app/drop) or the Dashboard (/app/dashboard).
-
Add a backup channel. Turn on email alerts (and SMS on Family) so you’re covered if a push gets blocked. You’ll find channel settings on the Alerts page.
Important: you still book in My Disney Experience
SupaPark watches and alerts you the moment something opens — it never books or holds anything for you. When an alert arrives, confirm the reservation or Lightning Lane yourself in Disney’s My Disney Experience app right away. Drops can disappear fast, so act quickly once we ping you.
Still not getting alerts after this checklist? Double-check steps 1 and 2 first — permission and the installed PWA resolve the large majority of cases.
