Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Revue! was a limited-time Toy Story dance party at The Diamond Horseshoe in Magic Kingdom’s Frontierland. It ran from May 26 to September 8, 2026 as part of Cool Kids’ Summer, and it has ended. While it ran, Jessie, Woody and Bullseye took over the old Western music hall for a walk-in party with Toy Story songs, yodeling, line-dance games and a live guitar player. The Diamond Horseshoe stopped serving food for the whole run, and Disney said its restaurant would come back sometime in fall 2026.

Is it worth it?

It’s closed now, so you can’t plan around it. The revue ended September 8, 2026. If you’re visiting this fall or later, take it off your list. Don’t count on The Diamond Horseshoe for a Toy Story party, or for a meal, until you’ve checked its current status.

What it was, if Disney brings it back:

• Best for: kids roughly 3–9 who love Toy Story, and parents who want an indoor, air-conditioned break that also burns off some energy. Getting to dance with Woody and Jessie, instead of standing in a photo line, was the main draw.
• Skip it if: your group is all adults or teens with no little ones. It was built for kids: dancing, a stomp lesson and games. It wasn’t a polished stage show you’d sit back and watch.
• The catch: it replaced the restaurant. You couldn’t eat at The Diamond Horseshoe all summer, so families who had planned on its all-you-care-to-enjoy meal had to go somewhere else.
• The standout: it had no Lightning Lane and no booking. You just walked in, which is unusual for a time slot with this many characters.

Insider tips

• The structure worth knowing: it didn’t run on posted showtimes. Sets took turns, with one segment led by Woody and Jessie and another led by Bullseye. If you came in during the Bullseye part, you could stay and catch Woody and Jessie on the next turn.
• The kid moment: in the Bullseye segment, kids learned a line dance called the “Horseshoe Stomp” while live guitarist Dusty Strings played. If your kid is shy around characters, a group dance is an easy way in because nobody is on the spot.
• Bring your voice: the Woody and Jessie set was a sing-and-dance-along to well-known Toy Story songs, yodeling included. The more you joined in, the more fun it was.
• No Lightning Lane: it had no Lightning Lane of any kind. If it comes back in a similar form, don’t spend a Multi Pass booking thinking about it. Treat it as a walk-in break between Frontierland rides.
• If it returns: a similar summer event would probably work the same way. Drop in when the afternoon heat peaks, since the room is indoors and air-conditioned, and save your mornings for headliners.

Who can ride

• Height: none. It was a walk-in character show and dance party, not a ride.
• Intensity: very low. No motion, no drops, nothing that causes motion sickness. The only physical part was optional dancing and stomping.
• Young kids: a great fit for toddlers through early grade school. It was loud and lively, with music, a live guitar, clapping and stomping. If your little one is sensitive to noise, sit toward the back or bring ear protection.
• Accessibility: it was a seated or standing music-hall experience with no ride restrictions, so the whole family could take part together. Remember, though, that the show ended September 8, 2026.
