Resort guests: Set an alarm for 7 AM. The Individual Attraction Selection (IAS) button appears in the app exactly then, giving you a 1-4 hour head-start on the general public.
Non-resort guests: Be ready at park opening (usually 8:30 AM). As soon as the “Buy Lightning Lane” button lights up, tap it. The price swings between $7-$15; on low-crowd days you’ll see the $7 tier, while holiday peaks push it toward $15.
