Live now: Jungle Cruise wait & status
Disney has set November 3, 2026, through January 4, 2027, for Jingle Cruise at Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland, according to reports published Sunday, November 1. As of Sunday, November 1, the reported schedule gives guests through November 2 to ride the standard Jungle Cruise before its holiday version begins.
The original Jungle Cruise is scheduled to return when Magic Kingdom opens on January 5, 2027. The change is a seasonal overlay: the reported schedule describes a switch between versions of the attraction, rather than a ride shutdown lasting until January.
Jingle Cruise adds holiday decorations throughout the attraction and seasonal jokes to the skippers’ narration. The approximately nine-week run ends two days before Walt Disney World’s holiday season concludes on January 6, 2027.
The holiday version operates during regular Magic Kingdom hours and during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, a separately ticketed event held on select November and December nights. You do not need a Christmas party ticket to experience Jingle Cruise during regular park hours.
What we know
- Jungle Cruise, Magic Kingdom: November 2, 2026, is the final scheduled day for the standard version before the holiday changeover.
- Jingle Cruise, Adventureland: The holiday overlay is scheduled for November 3, 2026, through January 4, 2027.
- Jungle Cruise, Magic Kingdom: The standard version is scheduled to return at park opening on January 5, 2027.
- Jingle Cruise admission: The overlay operates during regular park hours as well as Christmas party hours.
The dates are attributed to Disney’s attraction webpage in the reports. Exact overnight installation and removal times have not been announced; the schedule does not establish a separate daytime closure for either changeover.
What our data shows

- Measured average wait over the last 7 tracked days: about 25 minutes.
What it means for your trip
Choose November 2 or earlier if your priority is the standard Jungle Cruise, or November 3 through January 4 for the holiday version. If your visit falls on January 5 or January 6, do not count on Jingle Cruise simply because the wider holiday season has not ended. And if Jingle Cruise is your main reason for considering a Christmas party ticket, ride during regular Magic Kingdom hours instead; the overlay itself does not require that extra event purchase.
