Lightning Lane Premier Pass Sellouts: What to Know

Published October 14, 2026

Live now: waits & closures

Lightning Lane Premier Pass — the most expensive line-skipping product at Walt Disney World — sold out at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios across the Columbus Day holiday weekend, according to reports published Thursday, October 8. At Magic Kingdom the sellout covered Thursday, October 8 through Monday, October 12, Columbus Day itself, leaving Disney’s Animal Kingdom as the only park with Premier Pass still fully available.

That holiday window has since passed. As of Wednesday, October 14, the part of the story that still affects trips is the Single Pass inventory and the pricing pattern the reporting described for the weeks ahead.

Premier Pass grants one-time Lightning Lane entry at each participating attraction with no return times to book, and its price moves with demand. Over the four weeks following the report, Magic Kingdom pricing was listed between $299 and $429, with several mid-October dates already at the top of that range. EPCOT’s was priced at $249.

Guests shut out of Premier Pass found the à la carte Single Passes gone too. Reports showed TRON Lightcycle / Run and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train sold out October 8 through October 13, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind sold out October 8 through October 12, and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance sold out across that same stretch plus Wednesday, October 14. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train was also reported sold out for Thursday, October 15. Avatar Flight of Passage’s Single Pass was gone for Saturday, October 10 even though Animal Kingdom’s Premier Pass was not.

Lightning Lane Multi Pass remained available at all four parks at the time of publication. Multi Pass does not include any of the Single Pass headliners.

What we know

What’s not confirmed

Disney has not announced any change to Premier Pass inventory, pricing, or how much is released per day, and has not commented on the sellouts. The reporting’s read that pricey add-ons are being used to lift per-guest spending against softer attendance is analysis, not a Disney statement. October 12’s EPCOT availability was described as expected to sell out, not confirmed sold out.
