ImageWorks - The “What If” Labs is the interactive play area tied to Journey Into Imagination with Figment in EPCOT’s Imagination pavilion. It’s less of a ride and more of a hands-on, kid-friendly decompression stop where you can poke around with creative exhibits after the attraction.

Is it worth it?

Worth it if you have young kids, need air-conditioning, or want a low-pressure EPCOT break that does not require extra spending. The standout is that it can buy your group a few calmer minutes indoors near the front half of the park; the catch is that older kids, teens, and adults looking for a true headliner will probably be ready to move on quickly. Treat it as a smart reset stop, not a must-plan centerpiece.

• There is no best row, seat, side, vehicle, or on-ride photo here because ImageWorks is not a traditional ride. The “gold” is using it as a flexible indoor buffer after Journey Into Imagination with Figment, especially when kids need something interactive that is not another queue.
• Pair it with Journey Into Imagination rather than making a special cross-park trip for it. If you are already in the Imagination area, it is an easy add-on; if you are deep in World Showcase, it is usually not worth backtracking just for this.
• This is a good place to let younger kids burn off curiosity while another adult checks the next move: dining availability, Lightning Lane refill options, or which EPCOT ride has softened.
