Meet Princess Aurora in France

Overview

Meet Princess Aurora in France is a character greeting in EPCOT’s France pavilion, where you can meet Sleeping Beauty, take photos, and get autographs when she is appearing. It is a low-intensity, walk-up style experience rather than a ride, so the value is mostly in the character moment and the France pavilion setting.

Is it worth it?

Worth it if someone in your group loves princesses, Sleeping Beauty, autograph books, or calmer EPCOT experiences that do not involve screens, drops, or motion. Skip it if your group is trying to prioritize EPCOT headliners or you are not interested in character photos, because the payoff is personal interaction rather than a big attraction moment. The standout is that this can be a sweet, lower-stress princess meet in World Showcase; the catch is that character appearances can vary, so check the current My Disney Experience schedule before building your day around it.

Insider tips

• There is no ride seat, row, side, or on-ride photo trick here because this is a character meet, not a ride. The “gold” is the interaction: have a question ready, because a specific prompt usually gets a better moment than just standing for a photo.
• Good prompts for Aurora: ask about the fairies, her favorite part of France, or whether she prefers pink or blue.
• If you are collecting autographs, open the book to a blank page before it is your turn and have the pen ready. It keeps the line moving and gives you more time for the actual interaction.
• Go earlier in her scheduled appearance window when possible. Character lines often feel worse when you arrive near the end and risk getting cut off.
• Pair it with nearby France pavilion time: photos, a snack, or a slower World Showcase lap. This is not something to cross the park for unless Aurora is a must-do.
• Do not treat this like a Lightning Lane target. Save paid skip-the-line planning for actual EPCOT attractions, especially headliners and higher-wait rides.
• Use SupaPark for live EPCOT strategy around the rest of your day: if nearby waits dip or your next best move changes, it can help you avoid burning prime touring time on the wrong stop.

Who can ride

There is no height requirement because this is a meet-and-greet, not a ride. It has no drops, spinning, motion-sickness concern, or physical intensity. For young kids, the only possible issue is character shyness: if your child gets nervous meeting face characters, let them watch for a moment first or have an adult join the photo.
