Mickey Ear Headbands Rise to $38.99 Online

Published October 4, 2026 · Updated October 12, 2026

Disney Store reportedly raised the online price of most standard Mickey and Minnie Mouse ear headbands in late September on the Disney Store website. The main change: many ear headbands that were previously $36.99 are now listed at $38.99, as of Sunday, October 4.

According to reports, the increase applies to almost all of the popular Mickey- and Minnie-inspired ear headbands sold through Disney Store online. The same $38.99 level also reportedly includes some non-mouse-style headbands, including Bluey and Bingo headbands.

Not every headband is priced at $38.99. More detailed designs and brand collaborations can cost more, including a Minnie Mouse Halloween ear headband for adults by BaubleBar listed at $44.99.

There are still a few sale prices showing below the new common price point. Reports cited the Maleficent Ear Headband and the Zero Headband at $29.59 while supplies last.

What we know

What’s not confirmed

Disney has not confirmed a matching in-park price increase for Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort ear headbands.

Disney also has not announced when or whether broader October price changes will hit souvenirs, food, or beverages at the theme parks, hotels, or shopping districts. Reports note that Disney park price increases often happen in October, but no specific 2026 parkwide price-change date was included.

What it means for your trip

If ears are on your must-buy list, assume $38.99 is now the safer budget number for standard styles online, before tax and shipping. For a family buying multiple pairs, that small-looking $2 jump adds up fast.

The better move is to decide before your trip whether ears are a planned souvenir or an impulse buy. If you see a style you actually want on sale online, compare it before waiting to shop in the parks, because clearance styles can disappear.

If you are budgeting for Walt Disney World, leave extra room for merchandise even though Disney has not confirmed in-park increases. October is a month when prices often move, and ears are exactly the kind of high-demand souvenir where a few dollars per item can quietly push your trip spending higher.
