Disney reportedly has 10 recently filed construction permits tied to Walt Disney World projects, according to reports published Sunday, September 27, covering Magic Kingdom and Disney Springs. As of Sunday, September 27, the filings include two Pirates of the Caribbean permits at Magic Kingdom and seven general-construction permits at Disney Springs.

Three of the reported permits are tied to Magic Kingdom. Two list Disney’s Sourcing and Procurement team as the filer and Buena Vista Construction Company as the contractor for work connected to Pirates of the Caribbean.

Those Pirates filings cover the attraction’s facade and queue area at 4873B Caribbean Way and the show building at 4875 Caribbean Way. The reported permit language points to labor, materials, and/or electrical work for construction, but Disney has not announced what specific work is planned.

A third Magic Kingdom permit was reportedly filed by Walt Disney Imagineering, with PCL Construction listed as contractor. The address attached to that filing is 1610 Magic Kingdom Dr, which reportedly does not yet exist in the system; the nearest existing address cited in the coverage is Haunted Mansion at 1600 Magic Kingdom Dr.

Seven additional permits are reportedly tied to Disney Springs. All seven list Buena Vista Construction Company as contractor and fall under general construction, with one permit connected to the bridge over the lagoon between Marketplace and Town Center near the LEGO Store and Rainforest Cafe.
