Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties Get Price Hike

Walt Disney World has reportedly raised adult pricing on all three Magic Kingdom fireworks dessert parties, according to reports published Tuesday, October 6, 2026. Pre-Party and Post-Party adult tickets reportedly moved from $99–$109 to $104–$119, while Seats & Sweets at Tomorrowland Terrace reportedly went from $124–$134 to $129–$144.

As of Tuesday, October 6, 2026, child pricing (ages 3–9) is unchanged — $59 for the Pre-Party and Post-Party, $74 for Seats & Sweets. Disney’s own Enchanting Extras page still showed the earlier adult ranges when reviewed, so the new figures should be treated as reported until they appear in the live booking flow.

All three products bundle desserts with a reserved spot for Happily Ever After. Disney describes a prime viewing area for the Pre-Party and Post-Party, where Cast Members escort guests to a reserved standing section in the Plaza Garden. Seats & Sweets instead keeps guests seated on the Tomorrowland Terrace patio.

Theme park admission is required and is not included in the dessert-party price. Happily Ever After remains part of the regular Magic Kingdom entertainment lineup — no dessert party is needed to watch it. What the upcharge buys is a reserved view, not access to the show.

The fireworks parties are not the only increase reported October 6. Reports the same day documented higher prices across all four Annual Pass tiers, including a $120 increase for the Incredi-Pass, plus higher prices on a range of everyday food and beverage items, following recently reported October Lightning Lane increases.

What we know

What’s not confirmed

Disney has not issued an announcement about the increase, and has not said when the new rates take effect or whether they apply to every date. Existing reservations have not been addressed. Because the official page had not yet shown the new ranges, the exact rate for any given night is unverified — check the price displayed for your date before you commit.

What it means for your trip

Price first, then decide. Pull up your specific date in My Disney Experience and see which end of the range you’re being quoted; the spread between the low and high adult price is now wider than the old one, so the date you pick matters more than it used to.

If you’re buying for the view and not the desserts, the math is getting harder to justify for a family of four. Free alternatives still work: stake out the hub grass or the Plaza area roughly 45–60 minutes ahead, or watch from Main Street with the castle lit behind you. Seats & Sweets is the one that holds its value best for groups with small kids or anyone who doesn’t want to stand — you’re paying for a chair and a table, which the standing parties don’t give you.

If you want the party anyway, book it early. These sell out on busy nights, and a cancellation is often the only way back in — SupaPark’s dining Drop Watch can ping you the moment a spot frees up so you can grab it in My Disney Experience.
