According to reports, guests attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom are receiving three complimentary items with their event ticket this season. The items provided at the park include trick-or-treat candy, a themed souvenir bag, and a specialty event map.
As of Saturday, August 29, coverage indicates these perks are handed out at no additional cost to attendees once they enter the separately ticketed event.
Trick-or-treat trails are stationed throughout Magic Kingdom, allowing guests to collect complimentary candy while navigating between ride overlays and exclusive character meet-and-greets. For attendees with dietary restrictions, allergy-friendly treat options are available; guests simply need to speak with a Cast Member at the treat locations to participate in the modified process.
To hold the treats, the park is distributing a 2026 trick-or-treat bag. The complimentary bag features a dual-sided design: Mickey and Minnie Mouse in classic Halloween attire on the front, and the Hitchhiking Ghosts from the Haunted Mansion on the reverse.
Additionally, attendees are given a physical, Halloween-themed guide map as they enter the park. The paper guide serves as both a navigation tool for the party-exclusive offerings and a free keepsake.
What we know
- Complimentary Candy — Distributed at designated trick-or-treat trails across Magic Kingdom, with allergy-friendly alternatives available from Cast Members.
- 2026 Trick-or-Treat Bag — A two-sided reusable bag featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse on one side and the Haunted Mansion’s Hitchhiking Ghosts on the other.
- Party Guide Map — A physical paper map highlighting event-specific locations, entertainment, and treat trails.
Disney has not released an official statement detailing these specific items, and it is not confirmed if any other complimentary merchandise or treats will be added to the event lineup as the Halloween season progresses.
What it means for your trip
- Leave the candy buckets at home: You do not need to pack a trick-or-treat bucket unless you want a significantly larger container. The provided bag holds a good amount of candy and serves as an easy souvenir.
- Utilize the paper map: Even if you rely heavily on the My Disney Experience app during normal park hours, the party-exclusive paper map is the fastest way to locate the treat trails, showtimes, and character spots without draining your phone battery.
- Manage the treat trails: Trick-or-treating is a major draw, so weave the candy stops into your route while walking between attractions rather than doing them all at once. You can set SupaPark’s live alerts to monitor wait times for your priority rides, and hit the treat trails while you wait for those lines to drop.
