Ride & wait-time alerts

The short answer

Ride & wait-time alerts tell you when something important changes with a ride, especially when a wait suddenly craters toward walk-on or when a ride goes down.

These alerts are for Silver and Gold members. SupaPark watches the live ride board for you and pings you when there is a useful change. It does not book anything or move you into a queue. You still decide what to do next in the park.

Where to set ride alerts

1. Open SupaPark.
2. Go to Alerts at /app/alerts.
3. Choose the ride or rides you want SupaPark to watch.
4. Pick the alert type you care about.
5. Make sure notifications are allowed on your device or browser.

For the best experience, Silver and Gold members should allow push notifications. Silver includes up to 5 push alerts per day. Gold includes unlimited push alerts, plus SMS alerts.

What each alert type means

Walk-on or wait-drop alerts

This means SupaPark has detected that a posted wait has fallen unusually low compared with recent patterns.

Use this when you are flexible and want SupaPark to catch short-window opportunities, like a popular ride suddenly becoming much easier to ride.

What to do when you get one:

• Check where you are in the park.
• Compare the ride against your current plan.
• Move quickly if it is nearby and still worth the walk.

Wait drops can disappear fast. If you wait too long, the posted wait may climb again as other guests notice the same opportunity.

Ride-down alerts

This means the ride is showing as temporarily unavailable or not operating.

A ride going down is not the same as a walk-on opportunity. It usually means you cannot ride it right now.

Use ride-down alerts when:

• The ride is one of your must-dos.
• You want to avoid walking across the park for something unavailable.
• You want to watch for a possible reopening later.

If a ride goes down, do not head there unless you have another reason to be nearby. Pick a backup ride, meal, show, or break instead.

Why these alerts are useful

Ride conditions can change faster than a normal plan can keep up. A posted wait can drop suddenly after a parade starts, during mealtimes, after weather clears, or when crowds shift across the park. A ride can also go down with little warning.

SupaPark helps by watching those changes in the background, so you are not constantly refreshing live waits.

Quick troubleshooting

1. Check that your plan is Silver or Gold.
2. Confirm the ride alert is active on Alerts.
3. Allow browser or native push notifications.
4. Make sure your phone is not blocking notifications with Focus, Do Not Disturb, or battery restrictions.
5. If you are on Silver, remember the plan includes 5 push alerts per day.

Use ride alerts for decisions, not guarantees. A short wait can rise again, and a down ride may stay unavailable or reopen later depending on park operations.
