Na’vi River Journey is worth it for families with small kids, guests who want Pandora without the intensity of Avatar Flight of Passage, and anyone who loves detailed, peaceful dark rides. The standout is the final Shaman animatronic, which is genuinely one of the ride’s best reasons to go.

The catch: the wait can feel out of proportion to the experience. This is a short, gentle ride of about 5 minutes, and it often draws long lines because it is in Pandora and moves guests slowly. If the posted wait is high, this is usually not the Animal Kingdom ride to burn your best morning time on. Treat it as a smart Multi Pass pick, a lower-wait late-day target, or a backup if Flight of Passage is too intense for your group.
