    Mobile Order

Most Disney World visitors think using Mobile Order means they've already beaten the system. But if you're standing outside a restaurant with a crowd of hangry people waiting for your number to be called, you aren't saving any time. The trick isn't just having the My Disney Experience app—it's knowing exactly when to press the button, how to speed up your payment screen, and which locations let you walk right up.

Here is the smart way to handle quick-service dining so you never waste time in line.

Tap "Place Order" From a Different Land

Most guests wait until they are physically standing outside the restaurant to tap the "I'm Here, Prepare My Order" button. That is a rookie mistake. The kitchen begins prepping your food the exact second you hit that button, and the app often overestimates how close you actually are.

Here is the move: hit the button while you are still walking over from another land. If you're leaving Big Thunder Mountain and want lunch at Columbia Harbour House, tap the button while you're still in Frontierland. By the time you navigate through the crowds and arrive in Liberty Square, your food will already be sitting in the warming drawer. You walk straight to the counter, grab your tray, and keep moving.
