Memory Maker One Day Rises to $85 in Disney Price Hikes
Published October 6, 2026 · Updated October 12, 2026
Walt Disney World raised the price of Memory Maker One Day from $75 to $85, according to reports published Tuesday, October 6, 2026. The other two PhotoPass options did not move: Memory Maker purchased three or more days in advance stays at $185, and standard Memory Maker stays at $210.
As of Tuesday, October 6, the increase is reported as part of a broad same-day repricing across the resort. Reports describe Annual Pass increases — the Incredi-Pass up $120 to $1,749 — along with Lightning Lane price movement, hundreds of food price changes across all four parks, the resort hotels and Disney Springs, higher peak 2027 ticket prices, and merchandise increases that took standard Mickey and Minnie ear headbands from $36.99 to $38.99.
The Memory Maker change is the one that shifts the math. Before today, two separate One Day purchases came to $150 against $185 for the advance full-trip package. Now two One Days run $170, closing that gap to $15, and three One Days run $255 — well past the $185 package.
On merchandise, the passholder discount does not absorb the increase. Reports note a 20 percent merchandise discount on select regularly priced items at locations including the Emporium at Magic Kingdom, Creations Shop at EPCOT, Mickey’s of Hollywood at Hollywood Studios, Riverside Depot at Animal Kingdom, and World of Disney at Disney Springs. Ears at $36.99 came to $29.59 with that discount; at $38.99 they come to $31.19.
What we know
- Memory Maker One Day — $75 to $85, roughly a 13 percent increase
- Memory Maker purchased 3+ days in advance — unchanged at $185
- Standard Memory Maker — unchanged at $210
- Incredi-Pass annual pass — up $120 to $1,749
- Standard Mickey and Minnie ear headbands — $36.99 to $38.99
What’s not confirmed
This comes from a single report, not an official Disney statement. Disney has not publicly explained the reasoning behind raising only the entry tier, and the reports do not specify whether any further photo or ticket product changes are coming. Lightning Lane and food pricing are described as having moved without a full itemized list.
What it means for your trip
If there is any chance you will want PhotoPass photos on more than one day, buy the advance Memory Maker at $185 and skip One Day entirely. The break-even now sits at about two photo days, and at three days you are losing roughly $70 by buying day-by-day.
One Day still makes sense for exactly one scenario: a single planned photo day — a character meal, a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique morning, a proposal, a coordinated-outfit day — with no intention of shooting on any other day.
Buy the advance package at least three days before you arrive, since that eligibility window is what unlocks the $185 price instead of $210. If you are already inside three days of your trip, run the comparison honestly: at two or fewer photo days, One Day purchases still edge out the $210 standard price.
Passholders should not assume the discount protects them. It scales with the increase rather than offsetting it, so budget merchandise at the new prices.
