Nomad Lounge Set to Add Reservations, Reports Say

Published October 14, 2026

Live now: Nomad Lounge availability

Nomad Lounge at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is getting three operational changes — advance reservations, limited mobile ordering, and an annual passholder discount — according to Mickey Visit, which reported the changes Tuesday, October 13, 2026; Disney has not published these details on its own site. The biggest one, the report says: beginning October 28, 2026, the lounge will start taking reservations for visits from November 8 onward, ending its walk-up-only era.

As of Wednesday, October 14, the lounge still runs on a walk-up list you join in the My Disney Experience app once you’re inside Animal Kingdom. The report says the waitlist will stick around after the switch, but in a reduced form.

The second change is already live, the report says: Nomad Lounge takes mobile orders through My Disney Experience, limited to a single mini-churro item listed under “Nomad Lounge To-Go” rather than on the lounge’s main page. We have not been able to confirm the price against Disney’s own menu listing, so we’re leaving it out.

The third is a limited-time passholder deal. From October 20 through December 18, 2026, daily from 3:00 PM to close, Walt Disney World annual passholders can get two small plates plus two beverages for $49, according to the report; we have not priced the combo against the posted menu, so we’re not putting a savings figure on it. It covers all Nomad Lounge food except the charcuterie board, and select alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks.

What we know

What’s not confirmed

Disney has not confirmed how far in advance Nomad Lounge reservations will be bookable. Standard Walt Disney World Advance Dining Reservations open 60 days ahead at 6:00 AM Eastern, and that is the likely alignment, but it has not been stated — October 28 is when the system goes live and the window becomes clear. There’s also no word on how many tables stay set aside for walk-ups.
