What it means for your trip

If you want Under the Sea – Journey of The Little Mermaid tonight, ride it before 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 5. From 7:00 p.m. until Magic Kingdom closes at 10:00 p.m., this attraction is not available.

It is a dark ride with an indoor queue, and the animatronic figures can unsettle some younger children. Riding earlier still gives you that seated break before the reported cutoff. There is no single-rider line, so you cannot send one person through alone.

Do not leave this ride for after dinner. Shift it in front of the rest of your Thursday evening in Fantasyland. If you want another gentle ride in that land after 7:00 p.m., Peter Pan’s Flight and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh are the usual nearby options, and only while each one is operating. SupaPark’s live ride status shows when Under the Sea stops taking guests, so the rest of the night is not built on a closed entrance.
