The standout is that it is sweet, air-conditioned, and usually much lower-stress than the nearby headliners; the catch is that it is not worth a big wait unless Ariel is a major priority for your group. If the posted wait is short, hop on. If it is inflated while Fantasyland is slammed, save it for later or use it as a filler between bigger rides.

- Look for the queue details before you board: the rockwork includes a Nautilus submarine imprint, a nod to 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, which formerly occupied this area. You may also hear “A Whale of a Tale” in the queue music as another tribute.
- The rarest detail is seasonal by date, not by ride timing strategy: on Mickey Mouse’s birthday, November 18, a special Hidden Mickey can appear in the queue around noon Eastern when sunlight hits the rockwork just right.
