Disney World Crowds Today: Where to Go and When
Published November 5, 2026
As of Thursday, Nov 5, Disney World crowds are light to moderate. For today’s exact level by park, check the live crowd calendar at supapark.com. The two-week picture is below: Animal Kingdom is the lightest park and EPCOT is the busiest.
The crowd level isn’t the number that matters most this month, though. The time of day is. SupaPark’s wait data shows that Kilimanjaro Safaris has a median posted wait of 10 minutes at 3 PM and 50 minutes at 10 AM. That’s the same ride on the same kind of day, five times longer, and it’s the opposite of the usual go-early advice. Here’s the plan for each park.
The two-week crowd picture (Nov 5–18)
SupaPark’s forecast, as of Nov 5:
- EPCOT: average 6.1/10, peaking at 7/10 on Nov 16. This is the busiest park.
- Hollywood Studios: average 4.4/10, peaking at 5/10 on Nov 10.
- Magic Kingdom: average 3.1/10, peaking at 4/10 on Nov 10.
- Animal Kingdom: average 2.4/10, peaking at 4/10 on Nov 16. This is the lightest park.
One caveat before the hour-by-hour numbers: they come from SupaPark’s measurements over the last 30 days (Oct 7–Nov 4). They show the recent daily pattern, not a measurement of future dates.
Animal Kingdom: go late, not early
This is the park where conventional wisdom costs you the most time. SupaPark’s data shows the median wait across Animal Kingdom’s five busiest rides hitting 40 minutes at 11 AM, then dropping to 30 at 2 PM, 15 at 5 PM, and a low of 10 minutes at 6 PM.
The headliners show it most clearly:
- Kilimanjaro Safaris: 10 min at 3 PM vs. 50 min at 10 AM.
- Na’vi River Journey: 10 min at 7 PM vs. 45 min at 11 AM.
The move: sleep in, show up around lunch, and save your big rides for the back half of the day.
With crowds this light, think hard before paying for Lightning Lane Multi Pass here. When Na’vi drops to a 10-minute standby in the evening, you’d be paying to skip a line that clears up by itself.

Magic Kingdom: the 8 AM window is the whole game
Magic Kingdom has a low crowd level but a sharp peak. SupaPark’s data shows the five-ride median rising from 25 minutes at 8 AM to 45 minutes at 1 PM, then easing to 28 at 8 PM.
The early-morning numbers are hard to beat:
- Jungle Cruise: 5 min at 8 AM vs. 40 min at 12 PM.
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad: 9 min at 8 AM vs. 35 min at 1 PM.
On-site guests get Early Theme Park Entry, 30 minutes before official opening at every park. Use it to ride two or three of these back-to-back before the lines start building.
The catch for the next two weeks: Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party runs on Nov 8, 9, 12, 13, 15 and 17, and on those nights Magic Kingdom closes early to day guests. That evening dip down to 28 minutes isn’t available to you on party nights. Daytime crowds on party days often run a little lighter, because some guests avoid the early close, but you’ll need to get your rides done before the cutoff. The best plan on those days is rope drop, a midday break, and a strong afternoon. If you want an evening at Magic Kingdom, pick a day that isn’t on the party list.
Hollywood Studios: the night shift wins
Hollywood Studios is the park where staying late pays off most. The five-ride median sits at 50 minutes at both 11 AM and 2 PM, then falls to 33 at 8 PM and a low of 20 minutes at 9 PM.
- Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway: 10 min at 9 PM vs. 50 min at 12 PM.
- Slinky Dog Dash: 30 min at 9 PM vs. 68 min at 12 PM.
Slinky after dark also gets you out of the exposed, sun-baked midday queue.
For Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, you have three choices. You can rope drop it, use the single rider line if your group doesn’t mind splitting up, or let SupaPark keep an eye on it. Rise isn’t in our measured headliner set, so instead of guessing, set your one free SupaPark watch on it. You’ll get an alert when the wait drops or the ride comes back up after a breakdown. Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run also has a single rider line, which is a good filler during the midday crush.
EPCOT: the one park that gets worse all day
EPCOT works differently from the other parks. Instead of a morning or midday peak, its five-ride median keeps climbing: 30 minutes at 8 AM, 45 at 9 AM, 50 at 11 AM, 55 at 2 PM and a peak of 60 minutes at 5 PM, before easing to 45 at 8 PM.
- Frozen Ever After: 20 min at 8 AM vs. 63 min at 1 PM.
- Test Track: 30 min at 8 AM vs. 70 min at 4 PM.
The move: EPCOT is the one park this month where getting there early clearly pays off. Ride Frozen Ever After first, then Test Track. If Test Track’s standby has already grown, use its single rider line. With a 6.1/10 average and a 7/10 peak on Nov 16, EPCOT is also where Lightning Lane Multi Pass is most likely to be worth the money if you’re deciding where to spend it.

Frequently Asked Questions
How busy is Disney World today?
Crowds are light to moderate. As of Nov 5, SupaPark’s forecast for Nov 5–18 averages 2.4/10 at Animal Kingdom, 3.1/10 at Magic Kingdom, 4.4/10 at Hollywood Studios and 6.1/10 at EPCOT.
Which Disney World park is least crowded right now?
Animal Kingdom is the lightest park, averaging 2.4/10 through Nov 18. Over the last 30 days its shortest waits came late in the day, around 5 to 7 PM.
What time of day are Disney World lines shortest?
It depends on the park. Over the last 30 days, SupaPark’s data shows the shortest waits around 8 AM at EPCOT and Magic Kingdom, around 6 PM at Animal Kingdom and around 9 PM at Hollywood Studios.
Do Christmas party nights affect Magic Kingdom crowds?
Yes. On Nov 8, 9, 12, 13, 15 and 17, Magic Kingdom closes early to day guests for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. That means you lose the quieter evening hours, so plan to do your big rides in the morning on those days.
Is Lightning Lane Multi Pass worth it with crowds this low?
It’s most likely worth it at EPCOT, which is the busiest park and where waits keep climbing all afternoon. At Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom, smart timing often gets you short standby waits without paying.
