Disney World Raises Ticket, Pass Prices in New Round

Published October 7, 2026 · Updated October 12, 2026

Walt Disney World raised prices across a broad set of vacation costs on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, according to reports — theme park admission, all four Annual Pass tiers, food, and premium Lightning Lane options. The headline number: the highest-priced one-day, one-park ticket climbs to $229 plus tax for late 2027 dates, up $10 from the previous $219 ceiling.

As of Wednesday, October 7, 2026, the cheapest end of the date-based ticket scale is reportedly unchanged at $119 plus tax. Disney prices admission by demand, so the gap between a slow Tuesday in a shoulder week and a Christmas-week day just got wider.

At the top of the scale, a family of four would pay $916 before tax for a single day of one-park admission — before food, parking, merchandise, Lightning Lane, or a hotel. Add Park Hopper on a peak date and tickets reportedly reach as high as $301 each, or $1,204 for four people for one day.

Annual Passes went up across every tier. The Incredi-Pass — the only Walt Disney World pass sold to guests regardless of where they live — took the largest hit, rising from $1,629 to $1,749. The Sorcerer Pass moved from $1,099 to $1,139 and the Pirate Pass from $869 to $909, both $40 increases. The Pixie Dust Pass rose $10, from $489 to $499. The other three tiers carry Florida residency or similar eligibility requirements.

What we know

What’s not confirmed

The coverage does not include specific new prices for food items or for Lightning Lane, only that both were part of the increase. Disney has not issued a statement framing or explaining the changes, and there is no announced figure for how many guests have changed or canceled trips — that part of the story is anecdotal, not a Disney number.

What it means for your trip

If your dates are flexible, the $119 floor is still there — the lever with the most money in it is moving your park days off peak windows, not trimming snacks. Date-based pricing means two trips a few weeks apart can differ by hundreds of dollars per person.

If you’re locked to a school break, assume the ceiling applies and budget admission first, extras second. Decide on Lightning Lane Multi Pass per park day rather than for the whole trip — it’s worth far more on a packed Hollywood Studios or Magic Kingdom day than on a lighter EPCOT day, and you can see what crowds actually look like before you commit.

For Annual Pass math, the Incredi-Pass at $1,749 is now a steeper break-even. Count your realistic park days honestly; a pass that pencils out at eight days doesn’t at four.

If you’re cutting to protect the budget, cut paid add-ons before cutting days — SupaPark’s free live waits and best-time forecaster plus the crowd calendar can recover a lot of the time you’d otherwise buy back with Lightning Lane.
