Florida Resident Rooms: What the 2027 Deal Means

Published November 5, 2026

According to reports on Thursday, November 5, 2026, Walt Disney World is offering Florida residents a discount on select Disney Resorts Collection rooms. As of Thursday, November 5, the rate is up to 30% off room-only stays on select nights from January 3 to April 29, 2027.

Savings are based on the nondiscounted price a non-Passholder pays for the same room. The number of rooms is limited. Guests must show proof of Florida residency at check-in, stays must be 1 to 14 nights, other length-of-stay rules may apply, and the rate cannot be combined with any other discount. More than two adults in a Value, Moderate, or Deluxe room, or a studio at a Deluxe Villa resort, may owe an extra per-adult charge.

The offer excludes 3-Bedroom Villas; cabins at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge; and bungalows, Tower 1-bedroom villas, 2-bedroom villas, and penthouses at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.

Reports say an Annual Passholder version of the same January 3 to April 29, 2027 window came out in early September 2026 at up to 35% off, usually 5% to 10% deeper than the resident rate, with typically the same eligible dates, resort tiers, and room inventory.

A check of February 2, 2027, a value-season night at the bottom of the rack-rate calendar, found a smaller percentage off a lower starting rate. January and February 2027 are described as similarly priced.

What we know

  • Florida residents — up to 30% off select Disney Resorts Collection rooms for select nights from January 3 to April 29, 2027
  • Annual Passholders — up to 35% off select rooms on those same dates, released in early September 2026
  • Stay rules — 1-night minimum, 14-night maximum, no stacking with other discounts, Florida residency proof at check-in
  • Excluded rooms — 3-Bedroom Villas, Copper Creek cabins at Wilderness Lodge, and Polynesian bungalows, Tower villas, and penthouses
  • February 2, 2027 — value-season night with a smaller percent off a lower rack rate; early March runs higher

What’s not confirmed

Disney has not confirmed the offer in its own statement. Coverage did not include the resort-by-resort savings table, the dollar rates from the February 2, 2027 search, or which exact nights from January 3 to April 29, 2027 are eligible.

What it means for your trip

Florida residents booking a room-only stay from January 3 to April 29, 2027 should price this rate on Walt Disney World’s website and bring residency proof to check-in.

Annual Passholders should book the passholder rate, reported at up to 35% off the same dates. It will not stack with the resident discount.

Shop January and February 2027 for the lower rack rates. February 2 is the dated example: a smaller percent off the cheapest stretch of the calendar, with early March higher before the discount. Do not plan a 3-bedroom villa, a Copper Creek cabin, or a Polynesian bungalow, Tower villa, or penthouse on this rate. More than two adults in a value, moderate, deluxe, or deluxe-villa studio may pay an extra-adult charge. A trip that ends in 2026 sits outside this window; use the reported resident and passholder offers that run through the end of 2026.
