What this measures. These are Disney's posted standby waits as SupaPark read them, about every 5 minutes, plus how SupaPark's own day-ahead forecast compared. SupaPark does not time queues, so this report does not claim actual waits. This month is partial: Nov 1–4, 2026.

What about actual waits?

Posted waits are what the park displays; the wait you stand in is often shorter. The Real Wait estimate shown on /real-wait is a modeled estimate, not a measurement, and is not used in this report (definition).

How this is measured

Posted wait. Disney's posted standby wait for a ride, as shown in its app, read by SupaPark about every 5 minutes. Readings are averaged per ride per half hour (open readings only); one open half-hour of one ride is one "slot". Posted waits are measured, not estimated. (canonical definition)

Monthly posted-wait figures. For a ride and month: the mean posted wait is the average of its open half-hour slots; "60+ minute share" is the share of those slots whose average posted wait was 60 minutes or more; the peak hour is the hour of day (Eastern) with the highest average posted wait, among hours with at least 10 slots. A ride is ranked only with at least 100 open half-hours in the month. Every figure is a slot-weighted sum over the cells CSV. (canonical definition)

Posted wait vs day-ahead forecast. For a ride and month: SupaPark's served forecast made one day ahead for each ride and hour, compared with the average posted wait later observed in that hour. Mean absolute error is the average size of the miss in minutes; bias is the average of forecast minus posted (positive = the forecast ran high). (canonical definition)

To reproduce a ride's numbers: in cells.csv, mean posted = sum(slots x mean_posted_min) / sum(slots) over that ride's rows, and the 60+ minute share = slots in bands 60-89 and 90+ / all its slots. In forecast.csv, forecast error = sum_abs_error_min / graded_hours and bias = (sum_predicted_min - sum_posted_min) / graded_hours.
