Compare · SupaPark vs TouringPlans · checked Oct 12, 2026
If you want free live data, alerts and an AI planner, SupaPark is a strong TouringPlans alternative: the crowd calendar, live and "real" waits, Lightning Lane sellout times and dining openings are free to read, and a free account adds email alerts. If a fully optimized, step-by-step touring plan is what you want most, TouringPlans specialises in that; SupaPark's free Smart Day Plan is simpler.
TouringPlans has been a go-to Walt Disney World planning resource for years, and plenty of guests should keep using it. This page is for people deciding whether SupaPark fits them better, or whether to use both. We only describe TouringPlans by what its own site says (checked Oct 12, 2026); if something has changed, their site is the authority. Where we describe SupaPark, the numbers are live from our own data.

Credit where it is due: SupaPark Real Wait is calibrated on the public TouringPlans wait-time dataset — 56,215 pairs of a posted wait and the wait guests actually timed, collected in 2018–2019 (before Lightning Lane), with ride-specific corrections for the headliners that have enough timed waits and tier-level corrections for the rest. On that data the actual wait averaged about 73% of the posted time, roughly 76% at midday and 59% after 8 PM. We apply that correction to today's live posted waits and label every result an estimate; queues have changed since 2019 and we have no current timed waits to re-check it against. What SupaPark measures itself is the posted wait for every ride, every few minutes, archived since July 2026. TouringPlans' guests collected the timed waits; we are grateful the data is public.
Plenty of guests will: an optimized plan from TouringPlans for the shape of the day, and SupaPark alerts to catch the dining table or Lightning Lane return time that opens up while you are in the park. The two don't conflict.

The live waits, Real Wait board, crowd calendar, Lightning Lane and dining data pages and the planning guides are free to read. A free account adds email alerts (10 a day) and 3 Merlin questions a day; Silver and Gold add push alerts and more Merlin. See supapark.com/pricing.
Partly. SupaPark’s free Smart Day Plan takes your must-do rides and schedules each one near its quietest forecast hour, in time order. It does not optimise walking routes or re-plan the whole day the way a dedicated touring-plan optimizer does; in the park, Merlin and wait-drop alerts fill that gap from live data. If a fully optimized plan matters most, TouringPlans offers one.
It is a correction applied to Disney's live posted wait, fit on 56,215 posted-vs-actual wait pairs from the public TouringPlans wait-time dataset (2018–2019, before Lightning Lane). On that data, actual waits averaged about 73% of the posted time. It is an estimate; SupaPark does not time waits itself.
No. SupaPark is an independent planning service, not affiliated with TouringPlans or The Walt Disney Company.
Over the last 30 days, SupaPark's park-level forecasts missed the measured headliner average by 8.9 min on average (18,163 graded park-hours) — see supapark.com/accuracy.
